The Dallmeier streamers are stand-alone audio and video encoders which allow the integration of analogue cameras in a network.

The streamers can receive analogue video and audio signals via different inputs (e.g. BNC, S-Video, UTP). After digitising or encoding the data, different formats (e.g. MPEG-2, MPEG-4, MJPEG) can be transmitted via the network. The transmission is done in real time, either to one (unicast) or more IP addresses (multicast).

Either Dallmeier DVRs for recording or Dallmeier video management systems (e.g. PView, SeMSy^®) for evaluation can be used as receivers. 

The streamers are configured easily and comfortably via the network using a PC/Browser. A graphical user interface allows the configuration of all settings.
