DI-CAPE (Central Application for Pattern Evaluation) is a management software to store, monitor and control several NPRs in a shared system and allows a central system configuration via a browser based interface. Number plate lists can be maintained centrally and the data of the identified number plates saved on a central server. Number plate lists in the NPRs are updated automatically. The autonomous function of the NPRs is guaranteed during a network failure. When reconnecting to the network an automatic database matching is executed. Further advantages are a system comprehensive visitor management, an automatic notification when parking time is exceeded, a simultaneous event display of several lanes of different NPRs and an extended database to maintain and display more detailed vehicle and personal data.
