Dallmeier video motion detection

Any CCTV system for monitoring highly sensitive national, municipal or industrial sites always needs to focus on the essentials: Alerting guards efficiently in a real dangerous situation.

Nowadays video detection goes way beyond pure motion detection. Using intelligent picture analysis algorithms and self-learning detection systems a variety of different situations can be automatically recognised even in complex scenes. For example, object sizes, directions of movement and speeds can be analysed. Environmental influences like rain, snow or branches blowing in the wind are filtered out using special algorithms. Dallmeier's object classification system offers a self-learning picture analysis tool based on neural networks, which can even recognise particular object types such as people or cars and trigger an alarm.

Dallmeier's special video analysis systems identify number plates on static and moving vehicles, then analyse the particular number and trigger a variety of actions, such as opening barriers or switching traffic lights. Other sensor systems enable stand-alone applications as well as larger networked systems to count people or vehicles and to analyse the routes they take. They are also used to detect newly arrived static objects such as unattended baggage or to protect art exhibits in a museum.

In all cases the video analysis systems are always compatible with the remaining Dallmeier system components and can be fully integrated into complex CCTV systems.
