Dallmeier products can easily be connected to third-party systems thanks to their open and flexible interface architecture. The company has already implemented a variety of connections such as barcode scanners and playing card readers. The latest project was the integration of the SYS Watch surveillance for Sparkassen IT.

With the new comprehensive banking solution OSPlus, Sparkassen IT is setting new standards across Germany. OSPlus is a sustainable standard IT solution for the banking business, based on an advanced architecture, which is already being used in over 200 Sparkassen branches - that is half of all branches in Germany.

The “ready for SYS Watch” certification now enables Sparkassen to use OSPlus to monitor all Dallmeier CCTV systems with an SI package via their own systems. SYS Watch is an OSPlus system management tool for the control of Sparkassen systems with server, KSB, and snmp capability. Dallmeier security systems with SI package are an integral part of the SYS Watch surveillance, which means that all Dallmeier system messages – such as alarms, housekeeping and sabotage reports as well as error messages in the event of camera and hard disk failures – can now be processed smoothly by SYS Watch. In order to use this function, the SI package needs to be integrated into the Dallmeier system, which is available for Wavelet recorders from version 5.3.4 and H.264 recorders from version 6.0.6.

The connection with SYS Watch does not constitute a security gap since the management tool only allows for data retrieval and it is not possible to actively control the recorders via the software.

This “ready for SYS Watch” certification once more demonstrates Dallmeier’s commitment to fulfilling  customer requirements and high quality standards alike. Thus Dallmeier technology fulfils the requirements for operation in Sparkassen branches.
