A Dallmeier recorder is easily defined within the application by the specification of the corresponding access data. All further settings (e.g. track number, camera names) are automatically taken over from the recorder.

• Click the Locations (D) button on the main dialogue.

The (empty) recorder list is displayed.

• Click the + button (top, right) in order to add a recorder.

The recorder definition dialogue is displayed.

• Observe the explanations below.
• Enter an arbitrary name as Recorder name.
• Confirm with Next.
• Enter the IP address (internal IP address as set on the recorder).
• Enter the Login name and Password.
• Confirm each entry with Next.

NOTICE

The user rights of the used account are taken over from the recorder. Categorically configure the corresponding rights and limitations directly on the recorder.

NOTICE

Use group as user name,  if the recorder is operated in group login mode.

• Enter the iPhone server IP and the iPhone server port.

The iPhone server transcodes the image data before sending it to the application via UMTS or WiFi. The relevant access data depends on the system configuration:

iPhone server integrated on recorder
iPhone server IP = external recorder IP address (router)
iPhone server port = 3377

External iPhone server
iPhone server IP = external device IP address (router)
iPhone server port = Number of the selected Port

Note that Dallmeier recorders and iPhone Servers support DynDNS routers.

• Confirm each entry with Next.

The final definition dialogue is displayed.

• Confirm the recorder definition dialogue with Save.

The connection to the recorder is established.
The camera list is requested.
All cameras are displayed with a preview image as camera list.
